Beginner Bodyweight Exercises

Start your fitness journey with these simple yet effective bodyweight exercises. They require no special equipment, making them perfect for exercising at home!

Push-ups

A classic exercise that strengthens your chest, shoulders, and triceps. To perform a push-up, place your hands shoulder-width apart and lower your body until your chest almost touches the floor. Push back up to the starting position.

Squats

Squats are fantastic for building lower body strength. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, lower your body as if sitting back into a chair, and keep your knees behind your toes. Return to standing.

Planks

Planks are excellent for core stability. Lie face down, lift your body with your forearms and toes, keeping a straight line from head to heels. Hold for as long as you can!

Lunges

Lunges target your legs and glutes. Step forward with one leg, lowering your hips until both knees are bent at about a 90-degree angle. Alternate legs.
